Terms of Service

1. Overview

Nine Bar is a mobile application for tracking coffee beans, dial-in history, and brewing recipes. By using the app, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Purchases

Nine Bar Pro is available as a monthly subscription, an annual subscription, or a one-time Lifetime purchase.

Monthly and Annual Subscriptions

Nine Bar Pro is available through monthly and annual auto-renewing subscriptions. The price and billing period applicable to a purchase are shown before confirmation. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled in accordance with the settings and policies of the platform through which the subscription was purchased.

• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings.

Nine Bar Pro Lifetime

The one-time Nine Bar Pro Lifetime purchase is a single payment and does not renew. "Lifetime" refers to the commercial lifetime of the Nine Bar product and service, not the lifetime of the purchaser. It provides access to eligible Nine Bar Pro features for as long as Nine Bar is made available and those features or services continue to be offered. Features may change, be replaced, or be discontinued over time. See Section 8, "Changes and Discontinuation."

What Nine Bar Pro Currently Includes

Nine Bar Pro currently includes:

• Unlimited equipment profiles. The free version includes a limited number of equipment profiles per category; Pro removes those limits.
• Unlimited bean history. The free version includes a limited number of saved beans; Pro removes that limit.
• Cross-device sync. Available only with Pro.
• Trend charts and insights. Available only with Pro.
• Custom fields. Available only with Pro.
• CSV export. Available only with Pro.
• Additional Pro features, as identified within the app.

3. License Agreement

This app is licensed, not sold, to you. Your use of the app is subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement.

4. User Responsibilities

• Use the app lawfully.
• Do not misuse or attempt to disrupt the service, including optional account and sync features.
• Do not attempt to circumvent subscription or purchase requirements.

5. Informational Use

Nine Bar provides brewing suggestions, ratio calculations, and reference information, including the coffee-to-water ratio calculator, for general informational purposes. Actual results depend on your equipment, technique, ingredients, and personal taste, and are not guaranteed.

6. Limitation of Liability

Nine Bar is not responsible for any damages or losses resulting from use of the app, including but not limited to data loss, equipment issues, or brewing outcomes. Use is at your own risk.

7. No Advertising

Nine Bar does not display third-party advertisements. The core version of Nine Bar is available without ads, with optional premium features available through Nine Bar Pro as described above.

8. Changes and Discontinuation

Nine Bar may be updated, modified, or discontinued over time. Features, functionality, integrations, and online services may be added, changed, replaced, or removed. We may also discontinue Nine Bar or associated services in the future.

If Nine Bar or a material paid service is permanently discontinued, we will make reasonable efforts, where practicable, to provide advance notice and preserve access to locally stored data or provide a means to export user data. Any refunds, if applicable, will be handled in accordance with applicable law and the policies of the platform through which the purchase was made.
